From Maine, Jason Lescalleet explores a sound world that occupies a space between noise, contemporary composition and minimal electronics. Using primitive tactics and equipment, his work focuses on microscopic audio detail set awash in exaggerated and exploited site-specific acoustics.
Fun Fact: Lescalleet has a duo album with Jason Kahn called “red room” that was recorded at the Red Room in 2005.
