Composers discuss how they use improvisation

Moderated by Jessica Keyes.

Here’s an exciting opportunity for the fans of improvisation, experimental music, and composition to query composers on their practice. A panel of composers will discuss the diverse ways in which they incorporate elements of improvisation and performer choice into their compositions. Many of these composers will be performing in this year’s festival as improvisers.

This discussion will take place next door to the Theatre Project at Red Emma’s during a High Zero Happy Hour!
