Made in 1984 by Rob Epstein, the film tells the story of the intense social and political climate in 1970’s San Francisco, the rise of grassroots activist and openly gay politician, Harvey Milk to City Councilor, and his tragic assassination at age 48. Google the film and you will find high praise for it everywhere, but beware: it will make your heart ache.
