Local film collector and musician, Bob Wagner, screens the rare and beautiful documentary “The Moon and the Sledgehammer.”
Made in 1971 by Philip Trevelyan, this British cult film explores the eccentric lives of the Page family who live without utilities or running water in the woods of East Sussex. Shot on 16mm in natural light, the film lets the Pages express their concerns and world view without voice-over narration.
