Bob Bellerue

is a noise composer, experimental musician, and creative technician based in Brooklyn NY. Over the last 25+ years he has been involved in a wide range of creative activities – experimental electronic music, junk metal percussion ensembles, Balinese gamelan, sound scores for dance/ performance/ video, and installation sound and video art. His recent sound work is focused on resonant feedback systems, amplified instruments objects and spaces, electronics, and Supercollider programming. Bob’s work has been presented at the The Kitchen, Issue Project Room, Yogyakarta Gamelan Festival, Centre de Cultura Contemporanea de Barcelona, LUFF Festival, Sonic Circuits Festival, Living Arts of Tulsa’s New Genre Festival, CEAIT Festival, Ende Tymes Festival, Denver Noise Festival, Olympia Experimental Music Festival, PDX Noise Festival, Experimental Intermedia, Cafe Oto, Diapason Sound Gallery, Roulette, Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, Elastic Arts, Here Art Center, Radio Epsilonia (Paris), WFMU, WKCR, WNYU, KFJC, KXLU, East Village Radio, the Art Institutue of Chicago, Stanford University, The New School, UCSD, and UCLA. His discography includes dozens of releases on Banned Productions, P-Tapes, RRR Records, Love Earth Music, Prison Tatt Records, Los Discos Enfantasmes, No Rent Records, Zelphabet, Anarchymoon Recordings, Sleepy Hollow Editions, Peyote Tapes, and Important Records. He curates and produces noise and experimental music events on a regular basis, including the Ende Tymes Festival of Noise and Experimental Liberation.

Xome

is a harsh noise music project conceived and operated by Bob Scott. Xome first started experimenting with dissonant forms of music in 1989 but the first organized live performance in Tokyo in 1994 marks the true activation of the project. Now based in Sacramento, CA, Xome has evolved into a highly refined and extremely harsh noise music unit by means of improvised manipulation of sound generating and processing equipment.

Past Xome performances have shared the same bill with artists such as Incapacitants, C.C.C.C., Killer Bug, Merzbow, Otomo Yoshihide, Seiichi Yamamoto, (Boredoms, Omoide Hatoba), Violent Onsen Geisha, Pain Jerk, Death Squad, Government Alpha, TV Pow, Daniel Menche, Kazumoto Endo, K2, Emil Beaulieau, Melt Banana, MSBR, Stimbox, Prurient, Thomas Dimuzio, Cock E.S.P., Pedestrian Deposit, Black Leather Jesus, T.E.F., Sickness, Pop Culture Rape Victim, Vertonen, Guilty Connector and many, many more.
