German bassist Alexander Frangenheim and local trombonist Patrick Crossland have worked as a duo for several years as documented on their 2013 CD, Ape Green. This performance will also feature trumpeter Dave Ballou and percussionist Tom Goldstein. This quartet has never played together, making this a true first encounter.
