Booking & Contact Information

We book shows for Saturdays--very rarely on Fridays or other nights.
Booking takes place every other Tuesday, so realize it may take two weeks or more to hear your submission.

We are always very interested to find out about new people who are doing really
experimental work in sound, music, film, language, and performance. What that means is
clearly relative, and we also don't want to objectify (& hence, limit) what we
are looking for by giving a formula, but we are serious about only
booking what we find to be inspired, unusual & exploratory--whatever
the original of the impulse.

So, if the intention of what you do is not really
experimental, it will be a waste of both your time and ours to send
us something. (We get lots of great music that doesn't expand our horizons
every month--we enjoy it, but we don't book it.)

If we book you, it is a "door gig":
Here is the deal: the groups or individuals that play get 100% of the door. If there is
more than one group, the split is as follows: 1.) the group(s) that are from out of
town get (or split) the first $100, and split the remaining door with any local
groups. We don't take anything for The Red Room.
